Biofermentation® is ABS’s patented microbial process. It works by growing naturally occurring bacteria either on or off site and introducing them into the system at the right time, in the right way.
Instead of adding more chemicals or building new infrastructure, we strengthen the biology of the system, making it more stable, more efficient, and more resilient. This gives plant operators a smarter way to deal with common issues like shock loading, bulking, permit violations or poor settleability.
And it works fast. In emergency call-outs, ABS can restore compliance within days using our on-site Biofermentor and Model 1500 trailer.
